The expressive qualities of color and line are hallmarks of my style.
My inspiration comes mainly from the visual world around me in the form of people, animals, fruits and vegetables, landscapes and the Word of God.
The process of creating a work of art causes me to become aware of things in more dimensions then they first appear, and it's this process of expanding my experience and the discoveries that I make in the effort to create that keeps me excited about making art.
These moments become a journey of discovery and I am as interested in the discoveries that the viewer makes in looking at these works.

I am inspired by light as revealed in Nature and the way that the creation manifests in my world.
I enjoy painting, drawing and combinations thereof that rely most of the time on direct observation but can occasionally come from imagination.
